Prepare it, cook it, and of course enjoy eating it!

Eat and Walk Italy was born of a strong passion and dedication to Italian food culture. They provide cooking learning programs in the historical centre of Rome.
All classes take place in different locations within walking distance of the city’s world-famous historical monuments and such attractions as Spanish steps, Trevi fountain, the Pantheon and Saint Peter’s Basilica as well as an array of important churches and museums.
They will provide you the basics to fully master the techniques and enjoy making your own Italian-style pizza, different kinds of home-made pasta such as fettuccine, as well as grandma’s genuine old recipes.
In addition to just cooking classes, you can also combine these with walking tours which take you to points of food related interest in the city such as Campo de Fiori which is probably the oldest and most traditional market in Rome. This is where the so-called vignarole, ladies who came from the countryside every day, sold their vegetables.
Here is your chance to savor the typical products: experience the adventure of tasting and understanding the genuineness of the raw materials and the product of controlled origin. You can get a taste of extra virgin olive oil, stop at Norcino to taste some of the best and most special Italian cold cuts accompanied by a good glass of wine, and you will be able to go through fruit and vegetable banquets, taste amari (bitter) and liqueurs.
The market is sure to provide you with plenty of inspiration to try your hand at cooking Italian style, even for those who prefer the experience of eating to preparation!
